Chequers Pizza Portlaoise

I always appreciated this place because the food used to be very good and the quality of the extras was excellent, but for about a year now I feel that things have started to go downhill. Two months ago I ordered a kebab and it was weak — I thought it was just a one‑off mistake. I gave it a second chance, but unfortunately I received something even worse. The meat was dry and full of gristle, and the sauces have become bland. Unfortunately, I’ve lost trust and I won’t be coming back.

P.S. The pizza is slightly better, but still not the same as it used to be.

The worst burger in my life .
I order a chicken fillet burger meal but the burger wasn't comestibile the chicken was hard no taste no salt nothing and sweet chilli sauce in the burger some salat onion and tomato honestly just NO TASTE.
That's not a burger that's a JOKE.

This is an excellent place if you are very very hungry!. The portions are very large and could easily be split between people..something I didn't know and ended up with far too much food...very reasonably priced.
